How Naila Bari Get Involved in ROTARY?

On February 2015, Naila had a good time with her friends. There was a friend named Rashed Kanchan,  he was one of the very renown media personality in Bangladesh. In the middle of adda suddenly Rashed said that he has a meeting in The Westin, Gulshan. That is was Rotary Meeting. If she feel to go the meeting she can join that meeting. Naila is very enthusiastic lady. She felt like may be that meeting can be a new avenue of her career. But Naila Bari doesn’t know about Rotary. She went to met the community.

The club name was “Rotary Club of Baridhara”. They were so welcoming and they invited her to join their club. After studying Naila felt like to join the club. But she needs to continue 3(Three) meeting’s as per rule. She continued 3(Three) meeting’s and after all procedure she joined the club. She introduced 2(Two) more member’s in the club. She got the award of “Paul Harris Fellow” on March 2015. On that time Club President was Rtn. Sheikh Nasim.

In 2016, Rtn. Khaled Shams take over the presidency in the year of July 2015. Rtn. Naila Bari was really fighting with the career on that moment. She couldn’t feel any interest to join meeting. Each meeting is very expansive to her. It was really difficult to maintain the Rotary Membership for an young lady. She felt like to drop this membership. But Rtn. Khaled Shams PHF called her and convince her to come back in the club. His fellowship and motivation changes her mind. She came back to the club. After a year Rtn. Mahtab Uddin take over his presidency on July 2016 and he involves Rtn. Naila Bari as Joint-Editor in a board. In this year he creates more fellowship and involves her more into the Rotary. Rtn. Naila take the initiative of fund raising for Sunamgonj Haor areas Flood effected people. Rotary club of Baridhara get involved 2(two) times in a joint project in District 3281.

On July 2017, Rtn. Ajanta take over her presidency but for her leadership fault member’s get discouraged to continue the club membership. Rtn. Naila changes her club to Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort which is very popular for being a fellowship club. Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort was very much welcoming to her. On that time Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort was planning to arrange “President’s-Elects Training.” After joining in this club Rtn. Naila Bari got the chance to explore the district program like PET’s. This program was the most glamorous program in the district which was conducted in the longest sea beach in the world Cox’s bazar.

As a social worker Rtn. Naila Bari feels proud to be a member of “Rotary International”.
